Värriön mentori Pertti Hari tarkastaa kairan kevätheräämista - Professor Pertti Hari checking the advance of spring 2005
Värriön tutkimusasemalla on kaksi merkittävää mentoria, aseman perustaja (1967) Erkki Pulliainen ja Smear -ilmasto-ohjelman ideoija ja käynnistäja Pertti Hari. Tässä "Pepe" tarkistaa luonnonpuiston kevättilannetta huhtikuun jälkipuoliskolla 2005.
There are two important key persons in Varrio Research Station history: Professor Erkki Pulliainen started the station in 1967. Professor Pertti Hari started the climate-oriented Smear programme in 1990; here he is checking the progress of Varrio spring in the latter part of April 2005.
